At the height of the Inquisition, a secret half a millennium old is about to be exposed—a lost letter believed to have been written by Saint Paul but never part of the Christian canon. 1. Brandi Rawlins

I have been wanting to read this one! I’ve never picked up a Lisa T. Bergren book that I did not love.

  2. nyfoodhistorian

I don’t get the plot- if gifted men and women indeed have powers, why would the Church attack them? Recruiting these special ones to work for them would be some logical.

    • Lisa Bergren

Hi! That’s a good question. It has to do with the time period. At the time, the Church was fairly corrupt. Some wish to destroy them, others use them, and still others will be changed by them.

  3. Kevin Hanson

I know I said I don’t have time to read… but I’d MAKE time to read THIS! 🙂
