The Cold War is over, but The Wolf is still at the door.

Hearing his stories of the dangerous life he led behind the Iron Curtain in East Berlin makes her own life seem more tolerable. But when Rainer is found dead and his room in disarray, Violet suspects foul play.
Dr. Henry Silverton lives among his books, teaching and writing about the Cold War. A letter about an East German traitor known only as “The Wolf” propels Henry out of academia and into Violet’s life. Together, they embark on a perilous quest to uncover the truth about Rainer’s death and the traitor’s identity.
Can Violet and Henry uncover the secrets of the past before one of them ends up as The Wolf’s next victim?

Looks like a great read, suspenseful. Thank You For Sharing This Book & It’s Book Tour With Us.
I look forward to reading “The Dark Guest” as I find the topic and genre intriguing. Cold War-related stories are fascinating to me, perhaps because of them often featuring the adventure and mystery of spies and travel and history. Maybe they appeal because I grew up during part of that–I was a teen when the Berlin Wall came down, and the USSR subsequently collapsed. It was such an exciting event, but I did not realize until we recently lived in Russia for a short time, that it was such a chaotic and scary time for many people there. Now I am saddened as I see that they are headed back that direction. I also enjoy stories that have a redemptive message, and it sounds like this one will.
Looking forward to reading this
