What do you find to be the most challenging part of writing? And the most rewarding?
For me, the hardest part of writing is the outlining stage. When I have a new story idea, it’s easy for me to want to jump right in and start writing! I have to remind myself that if I do that, I will probably get stuck because I don’t know where the story is going. (In other words, I’m a pantser by nature, but I’ve learned to be a plotster…and found it very helpful!) I would say the most rewarding part of the writing journey is the very end when I get to hold a copy of my book. Just seeing it in print makes all the time, effort, and writer’s block worth it!
It’s been years since I’ve read anything in this genre, and this sounds like a good one!
