We love buzzing about books!

JustRead Publicity Tours was founded in 2018 by Annie of Just Commonly (now exclusively on Instagram) and Carrie of Reading is My SuperPower, hence the name, “JustRead.” Both Annie and Carrie joined the book blogging community in 2015. Beth of Faithfully Bookish and Rachel of Bookworm Mama each joined the JustRead team in 2019. We were also blessed to have Kayla intern with us during the summer of 2020.

We love Jesus a whole lot and we love books.  We believe books in the Christian genre exemplify what stories can be – wholesome and inspirational.

Our purpose in operating JustRead Publicity Tours is to advocate spreading the word about books that inspire and are written from a Christian perspective.

Before JustRead, Annie and Carrie were individually being asked to help create graphics or put together blog hops or tours for authors. Eventually, we decided to pool together our ideas and build something special. We gladly followed God’s lead and we loved working together!

We are delighted to continue serving publishers, authors, and readers of the Christian fiction and clean reads communities as JustRead. We are committed to buzzing about books through blog, review, and social media tours!

JustRead Publicity Tours became a Limited Liability Company and transitioned to a three-way partnership in 2020.

Carrie is an avid reader, book reviewer, story addict, KissingBooks fan, book boyfriend collector, and cool aunt. She also loves Jesus and THE Story a whole lot. Co-founder of the Christian Fiction Readers’ Retreat and JustRead Publicity Tours, Carrie lives in Georgia with her husband Eric.

She can be found lurking at various blogs and websites (because she can’t stop talking about books) but her main home is the blog she started in 2015 – Carrie is our main client contact and blog/review tour coordinator.

Rachel is a work-from-home mom who LOVES to read. She enjoys good (clean) books of all kinds and has a soft spot for historical fiction. Rachel has been reviewing books since 2014 and is the sole owner/operator of Bookworm Mama. Homeschool Mom, Public School Mom, Assistant Events Coordinator, and Worship Leader are just a few of the “non-bookish” roles she has.

Rachel has had the honor of participating as a judge for various awards since 2017. Rachel also works as an Author Assistant and contributes to a group blog. She is our main host contact and social media tour coordinator.

The JustRead partners are exceedingly grateful for our hosts (fondly referred to as book bees). Without these passionate, positive, and enthusiastic readers, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Hosts are our essential volunteers, talented influencers who spread book buzz to the masses. Interested in participating as a JustRead host? Learn more.
