Welcome to the Hive
We’re so glad you’re interested in participating in a JustRead campaign. Every assignment represents a partnership between readers, authors, publishers, and the JustRead team. By signing up, you’re helping us create meaningful connections between great books and the readers who will love them. We ask only that you communicate openly and honor the commitments you choose to make.
FAQ
Getting Started
How do I join a specific campaign?
Click the banner image on the Current Opportunities page to access the campaign form. Complete the form to let us know you are interested in participating.
I submitted a campaign form. What happens next?
A copy of your responses will be sent to your email. We will review all submissions, and then you will receive an email confirming whether you were selected.
Campaign Selection
Why wasn’t I selected for a particular campaign?
It depends on the campaign. Clients may have specific criteria we must meet. Occasionally, selection for a limited number of openings is random.
After I receive the selection (welcome) email, what do I do?
Confirm your availability for the assigned date and add it to your calendar. Please respond immediately if you aren’t available. We’ll send a campaign asset email within a week of the campaign date with everything you’ll need for your post.
Campaign Participation
What if I have questions or concerns about the campaign or the book’s content?
Send your questions or concerns to our team by replying to a campaign email (welcome/assets).
Can I post on another day of the campaign?
No. Please post on your assigned date, or reply to the campaign welcome email as soon as possible to arrange an alternative date.
What if I have not received the book yet?
If you are assigned a print copy and haven’t received the book two weeks before the campaign starts, please let us know. Always download ebooks as soon as you receive them.
Posting Particulars
What happens if I don’t post a campaign assignment or forget to include important information?
We understand that life happens! If you can’t post as scheduled, let us know. This helps us keep things running smoothly for everyone. If we don’t hear from you and a post is missed, we may need to pause your participation in future campaigns, but our goal is always to support you, not to punish. Communication is key, and we’re here to work with you!
What if an emergency situation prevents me from completing my assigned post?
We completely respect those situations. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can update the campaign schedule and make alternative arrangements.

Participation Commitment
Before You Sign Up
Eligibility
We see your participation as a wonderful, voluntary partnership. Let’s keep our community welcoming and family-friendly, and treat each other with kindness and respect at all times. Hurtful, inflammatory, or unkind behavior isn’t part of our community values. Please keep your website and posts free of explicit images or content.
Express Interest
Let us know you’d like to participate by completing the campaign form. There’s no minimum or maximum number of campaigns required to be selected.
When you accept an assignment in a campaign, you’re reserving an opportunity that another reader may have wanted. Please request only assignments you genuinely expect to complete, and do your best to fulfill your commitments.
Selection Process
We’ll reach out by email after each campaign’s intake window closes to let you know whether you’ve been selected. While we do our best to include as many readers as possible, some campaigns have limited spots. If you’re not selected this time, we hope you’ll join us for future opportunities!
If Selected
Communication
Tip: For the fastest assistance, please use “Reply All” when responding to campaign emails. This helps ensure the first available team member can assist you. Please don’t hesitate to contact us.
We are dedicated to supportive communication seasoned with love and grace while always respecting your privacy. Please be patient with our response times, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during holidays.
Receiving Books
If you run into any issues accessing your digital ebook, reach out within a week of receiving it, and we’ll work with you to resolve them. We recommend downloading your ebooks as soon as they arrive, just in case!
Ideally, print copies should arrive two weeks before the campaign begins. If your book hasn’t arrived as expected, just let us know so we can check on the shipment and help find a solution.
Sometimes, unexpected shipping delays can affect print copy availability. If this happens, we’ll do everything we can to support you and help you participate fully in the tour.
Posting Requirements
Originality matters. Please use your own words and creations in your posts and reviews. We love seeing your unique voice and creativity shine through!
To help make your post shine, we’ll send you all the campaign details you need about a week before it starts. Just include the provided information—like book details and giveaway links—in your post.
Let’s keep our community positive and welcoming by avoiding foul language in posts. Please keep your campaign post public for at least 60 days so readers can enjoy your recommendations.
If there’s a submission form for your campaign, just fill it out and include your links and/or stats when the campaign wraps up. This helps us keep things running smoothly!
Reviews
We do our best to share content notes for each title, but if you encounter anything unexpected, please let us know so we can better support our community. While we strive to flag potentially sensitive material, we appreciate your help in keeping everyone informed.
Please share your honest perspective in your review, whether positive or critical, by your scheduled date. Please keep your review kind above all and at least 100 words. This helps readers get a full sense of your experience with the book.
If you’re having trouble finishing a book, reach out so we can find the best solution together. We trust you to read most of the book and approach your review with kindness and fairness.
To help spread the word, please share your review on at least one consumer website, such as Goodreads or BookBub, and on at least one retailer, such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Christianbook. This is in addition to including your review in your blog or social post, if you have one.
Please respect the hard work of authors and publishers by never selling, sharing, or distributing review copies. We feel strongly about protecting creative work (and yes, we have strong feelings about pirates—negative ones for the book kind, and alternatively swoony ones for the fictional swashbuckling kind!).
When Life Happens
Emergencies & Extensions
Life happens. If illness, family emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances affect your participation, please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to adjust schedules, offer extensions when appropriate, and support you however we can.
Repeated Non-Participation
To keep our community strong and supportive, please avoid the following. These actions may result in being unable to participate in future campaigns.
Repeated missed commitments without communication make it difficult for us to serve authors, publishers, and fellow readers. If you miss participation agreements three times, we may need to pause future participation opportunities.
However, we take any instance of illegal distribution of review copies very seriously, and it will result in immediate removal and reporting to the appropriate parties. We trust our hosts and believe in a community built on respect and honesty.
Quick Legal Notes
