Love this gorgeous cover! I do so love the mountains. We even moved to the Ozarks to be in the mountains. 🙂

  2. I have my mom’s copy of Christy. It looks well-loved (falling apart and held together with masking tape). I live near here and enjoy reading books about the area.

  4. When I read the synopsis I immediately thought of “Christy”. Christy was one of my favorite books when I was a teenager. We visit the Smokey Mountain area often and I love book set the Appalachians especially historical books. I’m a big history buff and the early 1900s fascinate me. Laurel sounds like an interesting. character and Laurels Dream seems to offer a different perspective on the same premise as Christy. I’ll definitely be checking this book out on Amazon. Nice cover art too.
