    When I read the synopsis I immediately thought of “Christy”. Christy was one of my favorite books when I was a teenager. We visit the Smokey Mountain area often and I love book set the Appalachians especially historical books. I’m a big history buff and the early 1900s fascinate me. Laurel sounds like an interesting. character and Laurels Dream seems to offer a different perspective on the same premise as Christy. I’ll definitely be checking this book out on Amazon. Nice cover art too.
